Nixtamalízaté-té-té project recent tour
Over late March and early April of 2024, I was part of a FEMEETING SISTERSLABS tour to Toronto, Canada, and Buffalo and Troy in New York.
In Toronto, Cecilia Vilca, Nathalie Dubois Calero, and I joined Roberta Buiani for presentations and artist’s talks, and Cecilia and Nathalie taught workshops. In Troy, New York, Cecilia Vilca and I joined Stephanie Rothenberg and Suzanne Thorpe for an evening of presentations and a full day of workshops hosted by Kathy High and the Sanctuary for Independent Media.
Many thanks to Roberta Buiani, Kathy High, all of the artists involved, and all of the audiences who participated! Seeing all of the creativity of the artists and spaces involved was deeply inspiring.
