Cornucopias Other Futures

I will be sharing new work as part of “Eco-Art Place-making in the Urban Environment" at Big Daddy's Complete Rejuvenating Community Garden in Emeryville. This exhibition begins in August and runs through October, with installations and presentations by artists, lectures and poetry. 

Admission is free and the site is wheelchair accessible.

2:00 PM, Sunday, August 18   Opening Reception, Poetry reading by Rafael Jesús González,  Berkeley Poet Laureate Emeritus.

3:00 PM, Sunday, August 25, "Cornucopias Other Futures". Artist talk and performance art by Praba Pilar,

3:00 PM  Sunday, September 15th,  Art talk and introductions by Phoebe Ackley and Poems by Kyle Nelson. Musical performance by Voices in a New World, an improvisational choir directed by Dave Worm.  

2:00 PM Sunday, October 13th    Closing Reception.   Artist talks by Judith Blankman and Christina Bertea, Introduced by Vickie Jo Sowell
