Originally scheduled for April 2-3, 2020, this conference has been rescheduled as fully virtual for September 25, 2020.
I will be presenting my project the Techno Tamaladas at the Latinx Politics: Resistance, Disruption, & Power conference hosted at New York University by NYU’s Latinx Project.
I will focus my talk on how we can reimagine and strengthen present day resurgence and survival in communities of color by sharing present day and ancestral knowledge of technologies of life from the Indigenous Americas, and the resilient practices of African American communities of the Mississippi Delta.
Conference attendance is free, tickets are available at eventbrite, the full conference schedule and further information is available at the Latinx Project site.
